BRECKENRIDGE LIFT EXPERIENECE ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST

The Breckenridge Mountain Operations team is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic leader to join our Lift Experience Team. The ideal candidate will work in a fast pace office environment and assist with daily administrative duties as they pertain to the Lift Operations and Scanning functions.  This includes processing new staff, payroll, and acting as a key supporter for Lift Experience Management Team and initial contact for employee inquiries.  Responsibilities include staff on boarding and off boarding, scheduling of new hire training, purchasing, completing budget and capital project data entry in an accurate and timely fashion, respond to employee’s inquiries, and various administrative duties.  Frequent exposure to sensitive information where maintaining confidentiality is essential.  Will assist with all aspects of the office and various resort related projects as assigned.

Responsibilities Include:

  • First point of contact for Lift Experience Domestic and International Employees
  • Payroll for Lift Experience staff (About 250 employees), which includes correcting exceptions, input of rewards, off cycle process, distribute timecard reports and approve payroll on a weekly basis
  • Completing HR / Benefits paperwork for Lift Experience Departments including hiring, employee housing allocation, transferring, and separating employees in a timely manner
  • Scheduling New Hires Into Training and Coordinates Employee Spaces
  • Purchasing / PO generation for Lift Experience Departments
  • Facilitate International J1 Student Program for resort
  • Act professionally and maintain confidentiality at all times
  • General office duties
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Assist Managers with other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School degree or equivalent - required.
  • Office and administrative experience - required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word) - required
  • Must read, speak and comprehend English and possess writing and editing skills - required.
  • Excellent guest service and communication skills - required.
  • Ability to work independently for extended periods of time - required.
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented - required.
  • Prior Vail Resorts experience - preferred.
  • Experience with Coupa, PeopleSoft, Paradox, RPOS, Concurs and Smart Sheets - preferred

The expected pay range is $23.00/hr - $26.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
