Job Title: CT Technologist

Job Summary:

A Critical Access Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to join its healthcare team. This role is open to new graduates who have passed their boards, with a three-month training program provided to ensure competency in CT procedures. The technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging , administering contrast , and ensuring patient safety while using advanced CT technology.

• Salary: Based on experience; higher for CT-certified candidates.

Schedule & Work Environment:

• Available Shifts:
  • Two 3x12-hour shifts:
    • Sunday-Tuesday (7 PM - 7 AM)
    • Wednesday-Friday (7 PM - 7 AM)
  • One 4x10-hour shift: Monday-Thursday (9 AM - 7:30 PM)
• On-Call Requirements: Minimal; one holiday per year required.
• Patient Volume: 20-30 per day.
• Facility Type: Critical Access Hospital in a small town.
• Position Type: Full-time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans and diagnostic imaging per department protocols.
• Administer IV, oral, and rectal contrast safely.
• Ensure radiation safety using ALARA principles.
• Assist physicians in interventional radiology procedures .
• Document scans and patient interactions using Epic EMR and PACS software.
• Maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and perform daily QA checks.
• Provide patient education regarding procedures.

Qualifications:

• Certification: ARRT (required).
• License: NH Imaging License (required).
• CPR/BLS Certification: Required.
• Experience: CT experience preferred; training provided for new grads .
• Technical Skills: Experience with GE & Siemens CT software, McKesson Change Healthcare PACS, and Epic EMR preferred.
