Job Purpose

Contribute to the development of functioning prototypes that will evolve into production ATV/SxS vehicles. Your role will involve researching and applying new technologies to meet business targets while ensuring global vehicle product quality.

Key Accountabilities

• Develop complex component and system layouts for ATV/SxS prototypes using CAD software, ensuring they meet concept targets and manufacturing requirements.
• Establish cost targets for parts and optimize designs to achieve vehicle development goals.
• Manage schedules and coordinate resources to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Generate innovative ideas and strategies to support the evolution of new technologies.
• Lead market quality initiatives and utilize problem-solving methods to analyze root causes.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 8+ years of engineering experience, preferably in Powersports or Automotive.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Effective communication skills with staff and management.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Competent in FTA, FMEA, and dimensional tolerance stack-ups.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in drawing and layout techniques, including CAE principles.
• Ability to create plans and schedules effectively.
• Understanding of product development schedules.

Working Conditions

• Travel: Average of 1-3 times monthly, including possible overseas travel.
• Physical: Primarily desk work with limited physical activity.
• Hazards: Typical office and shop setting risks.
• Overtime: Expected based on project demands.
• Maintain professional conduct and adhere to company policies.
