Position Description : We review candidates for this entry-level structural engineering position throughout the year across our California offices (Los Angeles, Oakland, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco) and in Detroit, MI, and Grand Rapids, MI. Compensation and Benefits : The annual pay range generally falls between $77,000 and $114,000, depending on factors such as location, education, and experience. For more information, visit: Job Description : Create a safe and beautifully built environment through expert engineering consultation, with a focus on preparing for the PE licensing exam. Responsibilities : Review architectural and structural drawings for new and existing structures to provide structural design and analysis. Prepare engineering calculation packages with assumptions and narratives justifying design methodology. Assist in solving client construction challenges by coordinating with disciplines, responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and performing construction engineering. Gain exposure to new construction concepts. Minimum Requirements : MS or BS in Structural Engineering with 1-2 years of relevant full-time experience. Strong communication skills. Authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer. Desired Requirements : Passing grade on FE exam. Knowledge of AutoCAD, Tekla, RISA, RAM, Revit, Excel, MathCAD, SAP2000, ETABS, Python, or similar software. Leadership potential. Experience in seismic analysis and design is a plus.
